Job description

Sunroom is a venture-backed tech startup headquartered in Austin, TX. We are on track with dramatically improving the way renters locate homes and apartments because we believe that the existing tools renters use, such as Zillow, are just scratching the surface. With the Texas Real Estate Market going viral, Sunroom is experiencing explosive growth week over week and we are seeking to move quickly in onboarding new talent!


We're creating a platform that will enable renters to schedule showings on the fly and apply to properties directly within the app. 


Sunroom was started by the Favor founders, Ben & Zac. Their last company, Favor, had 50,000 delivery drivers at the time it was sold to HEB Grocery. You'll be joining a super talented, hungry, fun team, looking to change the game for renters!


Did you recently move to Houston and have a current Texas Real Estate License? Are you currently licensed in Texas and inactive? Are you newly licensed in Texas and want to debut your real estate career in the Houston market? Sunroom sources these soft pre-qualified leads making us the one for you! Our ideal candidate is someone that is an outgoing, fun, personable, driven and organized individual. This person thrives to be well versed with the Greater Houston area and knows how to source information on the fly using the MLS and/or our support team. We are seeking someone that is available 20+ hours per week and must be a member of HAR with eKey access.


A few things you'll be doing day-to-day: 

  • This is a field role. You'll conduct home showings for any and all properties featured on the MLS.
  • In-person meetings with clients to tour Exclusive Sunroom listings or listings offered by other listing agents.
  • Connecting with 3rd party agents to lease your clients.
  • Communicating with our HQ support team and assisting with closing leads.

Requirements

  • You must be a current licensed Texas Real Estate Agent
  • You must be a member of HAR with an ACTIVE MLS w/ Leasing subscription.
  • Preferred 1-3 years of experience in the real estate industry; preferably doing leasing.
  • You must be willing to work nights and weekends, since this is often when renters are available to tour homes. 
  • Reliable transportation is needed and a solid understanding of the Austin market is a plus.
