Sunroom is a rapidly growing venture-backed startup based in Austin, TX. We're dramatically improving the home and apartment search process and empowering renters in new and exciting ways. Started in 2018 by the founders of Favor Delivery, we've since helped thousands of renters find an amazing place to live. 

We're a venture-backed tech startup, headquartered in Austin, that's dramatically improving the home and apartment search process. We believe that the existing tools renters use, like Zillow, are just scratching the surface. We've created a platform that enables renters to self-tour properties apply & lease inside our app. Sunroom was started by the Favor founders, Ben & Zac.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building daily pipeline of prospects to cold-call and close (usually anywhere from 50-75 dials/day.)

  • Running and closing either phone and/or Zoom demonstrations

  • Managing the full sales cycle from introductions through closing. You’re not just booking demos; you are walking customers through the relatively short process from start to finish!

  • Learning and applying daily and weekly sales trainings and procedures.

  • Execute various outbound sales strategies - you’re not scared of cold calling!

We're sitting on all sorts of interesting data, from the 100k renters using our site, thousands of property listings on our platform, and funnel data on what's driving conversions.

You'll be joining a company that's small, but mighty of about 25 people. In this position, you'll work closely with our tenured Director of Inside Sales and other experienced Sales Executives in our beautiful Scottsdale office.

This is a "hybrid" (work from home and office) position at our Inside Sales Team in Scottsdale, Arizona. 


  • We are looking for smart, driven, committed, and authentic humans.
  • At least 2-5 years of full-cycle sales experience at a fast-growing startup, preferably SaaS based.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A positive, go-getter attitude who embraces not only change, but an evolution in a growing company, and most importantly passionate about getting the job done on a daily basis with their team members.

  • Experience in a short sales cycle (30-60 days).

  • You know how to every now and then kick it into high gear because you are goal-oriented and metrics-driven.

  • Experience with CRM systems and Excel and/or Google Sheets. (We use Hubspot)

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - not just for customers, but for internal purposes as well!
