Sunroom Rentals was co-founded by the founders of Favor Delivery, Ben and Zac. We closed our series A in the spring of 2021. Press release here. Our headquarters is in Austin, TX, but we have a distributed team of 30+ talented employees.


The Role

We are looking for flexible full-time or part-time Specialists to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. You will get paid to shoot residential real estate photography, install real estate yard signs, install combination lock boxes and/or our proprietary locksets on doors and conduct property condition surveys or reports. Managing and tracking inventory will also be included in your responsibilities. 


You will start each day at our storage facility OR if you are managing your own inventory provided, directly from your home! Sunroom Field Operations work includes reviewing and accepting orders, planning / following a route, photographing properties, installing and uninstalling real estate hardware (signs, locksets & lockboxes, door decals, etc) and ending the day at our storage facility to drop off the remaining inventory.

  • Picking up inventory at the beginning of a day and dropping it off at the end of a day

  • Navigating a variety of routes to a variety of properties throughout a market and service area

  • Photographing residential properties for listing on the rental market

  • Installing and uninstalling yard signs, lockboxes, locksets and other hardware

  • Performing property checks or inspections and filling out our Property Condition Forms while on a mobile device

  • Use a mobile device to follow the order routing and receive order requests

  • Communicating with our Central Field Operations Support Team in a timely manner to troubleshoot issues in the Field

  • Submitting invoices weekly to be paid out to you!

Attention to detail and flexibility is a must!! We will work with the right candidate to train them on how to use our inventory system and Sunroom Rentals tools to ensure that they can succeed!

This is a Contractor (1099) position.

Requirements

What’s Expected

  • Quality performance—all orders must follow our installation, uninstallation and/or Property Inspection standards

  • You must have your own digital equipment and reliable access to the internet.

  • Photography experience is required for this role, preferably experience in the real estate market. Photos will need to be uploaded in a timely manner (within 24 hours of photoshoot completion)

  • Punctuality—orders completed within the given day windows

  • Be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions

  • Ability to travel throughout the greater metropolitan area

  • Must communicate effectively and efficiently with our Central Support Team

Duties and responsibilities of a Sunroom Field Operations Specialist include:

Other miscellaneous paid responsibilities:

• Receiving packages at our storage facility.

• Assembling inventory used for orders

• Submitting inventory counts as requested.

• Clean and maintain storage, this includes having orders and disposing of trash as needed.

We Offer:

• Payment per service route

• Consistent weekly pay period every Tuesday for the previous Monday - Sunday

All offers are a 1099 contractor position. A company vehicle and mobile device are not provided.

Basic Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age

Eligible to work in the U.S.

Valid driver’s license and insurance

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Compensation

Pay is determined by the individual order. You can expect a compensation of:

$20-$25+ an hour for new/small markets

$25-$35+ an hour for growth/medium markets

$30-$40+ an hour for scaled/large markets
