Customer Care Call Specialist (Austin)

Job description

Sunroom is a real estate brokerage, headquartered in downtown Austin. We're reinventing leasing to empower renters.

Sunroom was started by the Favor founders and has been growing exponentially since it was launched in early 2018. We're designing technology to dramatically improve the rental experience for both our agents & clients. We're looking for someone who's eager to get involved. This is a great way to get your foot in the door and be with the company as we expand in Austin and beyond.

We're currently looking for a Customer Care Call Specialist, to communicate with renters who have created a Sunroom account. Renters frequently inquire about homes and apartments that are listed on our sites. Most of the time they're requesting to set up a property showing. Although we have a self-service product that makes booking super easy, sometimes renters need a little helping hand or friendly nudge.

You will handle a HIGH VOLUME inbound communications from our renters. You'll re-engage with prospects who require follow-up.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Engaging Communicator: This role requires that you make phone calls and send texts. You enjoy talking to people and they generally like talking to you. You’ll do great in this position if you’re a self-starter, an effective listener, follow-through, and can ask thoughtful questions.
  • Tech-Savvy: Since we have such a large number of renters that need assistance we've built internal tools for this role. You'll have to multi-task and interact with several applications.
  • Team Player: This role rests with our Client Success team. You’ll work with a small but connected group. Candidates who can work in a team environment will excel.

This is a full-time, hourly position. Estimated $30,000 to $35,000 a year.

Requirements

  • You Speak English fluently, but an additional language (Spanish) is a major bonus!
  • You must be okay working evenings and weekends. This is when renters are most active.
  • You do not need a real estate license for this role.
