Sunroom is reinventing leasing to empower renters. We currently operate in the Austin and Dallas, TX markets.
Sunroom was started by the Favor founders, Ben and Zac. In 2018 we launched our brokerage in Austin, Texas. Since then, we've helped thousands of renters find an amazing place to live. We're designing technology to dramatically improve the rental experience for both our agents & clients.
Our ideal App Pro acts a liaison between renters and owners, and drives the rental application process from the renter’s side, from property tour, to application, to lease signing. This role requires delivering customer support, managing accounts and sales-adjacent activities. This position will work remotely until we can return to the office safely.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinating with Renters and Owners: You’ll be helping our customers schedule property tours by coordinating with our own licensed agents. You’ll assist lessees with submitting applications and supporting documents, generally managing the process and helping to push the process to completion.
Communicating with Agents: You’ll coordinate between renters and our own agents to arrange for property tours.
Application Management: You'll follow up with our customers to assist them with submitting applications and supporting documents. Once the application process is complete, you will communicate with our owner partners to deliver a full application package.
Lease Preparation & Closing: In some cases, you’ll assist with preparing leases and/or collecting security deposits for our property owners/owning partners.

Bilingual: You are bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English.
Availability: You have a flexible schedule, including some weekends and evenings, as this is when many renters want to tour our properties, and you may need to assist with coordinating tours during those times.
Highly Organized: You are highly organized, and able to track multiple moving pieces at once, in a high-volume environment. You are a natural at “herding cats!”

Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable using and learning new technology. We have developed world-class proprietary software, with many automated processes to help you do your work efficiently! You are used to having multiple applications and windows open while you work.
Adept Communicator: You are at ease communicating with renters and owners, whether via phone, email or text.
Engaging and Empathetic: You are friendly, can easily interact with and engage potential renters. You understand the rewards as well as the challenges of the rental process from the renter’s perspective. You are also sensitive to the priorities of our owner partners, and provide them with thoroughly-vetted, high-quality rental candidates.
Proactive & Driven: You are driven to push for completion of the rental process, and you are not afraid to reach out by phone, text and email to potential renters.

Market Knowledge: Understanding of the Austin-area geography and real estate market is a big plus!
Real Estate or Sales Experience: Experience with apartment or house leasing is a bonus, as is sales-related experience!
Education: Completion of an accredited, four-year degree is preferred but not required.
